Hudbay Minerals is seeking a Certified Industrial Mechanic/Millwright for the Lalor Mine near Snow Lake, MB. You will maintain and overhaul underground mechanical equipment and work a 11.5-hour shift on a 7/7 Thursday-Wednesday schedule, with camp housing available for those who wish to relocate.

This role offers a base hourly rate of $48.50 with an underground production bonus of $6–$8 per hour, plus shift premium benefits, health and pension coverage, and a quarterly travel allowance.

• Underground experience preferred but not necessary.

The Opportunity: We are seeking a Certified Industrial Mechanic/Millwright for our Lalor Mine. Lalor Mine is a high-grade, producing underground mine located near Snow lake, MB. It is a major, long-life operation primarily producing Zinc, Gold, Copper, Silver, with ore processed at the nearby Stall and New Britannia Mills.

***Please note this is not a “fly-in-fly-out” opportunity although we do have a camp available for those who wish to drive in and out to Snow Lake or

relocation packages and housing assistance are available to move you and your family to the vibrant community of Snow Lake.

Responsibilities:

• To plan, install, erect, move, rig, dismantle, inspect, overhaul, repair, modify and maintain all types of mechanical equipment

Prerequisites:

• Must be a Certified Industrial Mechanic
• Underground experience is preferred but not necessary

Schedule:

• The successful candidate will work 11.5hr shift on a 7/7 (Thursday-Wednesday) schedule. Please note this is not a FIFO opportunity, employees are responsible for their own transportation to and from Snow Lake. To support you, we offer a fully equipped camp and a quarterly travel allowance(some restrictions apply)

Compensation :

• Base Earnings:

Hourly rate: $48.50/hr

Underground production bonus: Additional $6.00 - $8.00/hr on average
