Job summary

Hudbay Minerals Inc. is seeking Red Seal Industrial Mechanics/Millwrights for the Stall Mill in Snow Lake, MB. The role involves Crusher & Mill maintenance, conveyor system work, and pump repairs at the Stall Concentrator near Lalor Mine. The 7on/7off dayshift schedule includes an onsite camp option and quarterly travel allowances.

Relocation assistance is available. A Red Seal Journeyperson is required, with comprehensive health coverage, pension, and other benefits provided by Hudbay.

Responsibilities

• Crusher & Mill Maintenance: Replacing liners in the jaw and cone crushers, and maintaining primary and secondary crushers
• Conveyor Systems: Aligning belts, replacing bearings and repairing drive motors that transport ore throughout the facility
• Pump Repairs: Maintaining pumps that move many different mediums such as slurry, chemical reagents and water through the flotation cells.

The Opportunity

We are seeking Red Seal Industrial Mechanics/Millwrights for our Stall Mill in Snow Lake, MB. Also known as the Stall Concentrator, it is the veteran facility of the operations, located about 16 kms from underground Lalor Mine. Focusing on processing Lalor's zinc-rich and copper-rich massive sulfide ores using traditional flotation methods to produce zinc and copper concentrates.

Schedule

• The successful candidate will work on a 7on/7off (Thursdays-Wednesdays) dayshift schedule. Please note this is not a FIFO opportunity. A fully equipped camp is available for those who prefer to commute to Snow Lake with a quarterly travel allowance provided(some restrictions apply).

• $48.50/hr rate plus additional $1.00/hr Weekend Premium
