Job summary

Coeur Mining in Ontario, Canada, is seeking an Intermediate Underground Geologist to drive underground geological activities that support short-term mine planning at Rainy River.

Reporting to the Senior Geologist, you will oversee delineation drilling, grade control, data interpretation, and month-end reporting while mentoring Production Geologists and technicians and ensuring QA/QC and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geology and Ontario P.Geo registration.
• 3–7 years of mining industry experience, underground preferred.
• Experience with underground grade control and drilling programs.
• Strong communication and ability to coach staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist in underground delineation drilling planning and execution.
• Review and interpret drilling, development, and grade-control data.
• Coordinate with Mine Engineering and Contractors to meet priorities.
• Prepare month-end geological reports and reconciliations.
• Mentor Production Geologists and technicians.
• Ensure QAQC protocols are followed and data managed accurately.
• Lead by example and uphold safety procedures.
