Job summary

ROHL Global Networks Inc. seeks a skilled M-U Electrical Technician for our field operations in Western Canada. You will install, splice, and terminate underground electrical service entrances and related telecom/CATV infrastructure, under Manitoba Hydro Underground licensing and regulatory standards.

The role requires strong technical expertise, safety focus, and the ability to work efficiently in dynamic field environments across North America.

Qualifications

Manitoba Hydro Underground (M-U) License required.
Red Seal Power Electrician or industrial Electrician asset.
2–5 years underground utility installation experience.
Experience with electrical, telecom, and CATV underground infra asset.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings & work orders.
Proficient with cable installation, splicing, and testing equipment.
Strong safety awareness and ability to work in fast-paced field environments.
Willing to travel out of town, incl. weekdays/weekends.
Valid Class 5 driver's license with clean abstract.

Responsibilities

Install underground electrical service entrance cables per Manitoba Hydro specs.
Splice and terminate service entrance cables in residential meter sockets.
Install underground telecom & CATV cables and pedestals to standards.
Maintain installation logs, test records, and QA/QC docs.
Adhere to safety programs, regulatory requirements, and license rules.
