Job summary
ROHL Global Networks Inc. in Western Canada is expanding its fiber network and seeking an experienced Fiber Splicer/Network Technician to splice, test, and restore fiber in the field while maintaining the 1,200 km network and PoPs.

Qualifications
- Hands-on fiber splicing, testing, and troubleshooting experience preferred.
- Experience installing, commissioning, and troubleshooting optical transmission equipment.
- Practical knowledge of DC power systems (rectifiers, batteries, distribution) and testing equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform fiber optic splicing (fusion/mechanical) on aerial, underground, and buried fiber infrastructure.
- Test and certify fiber links using OTDRs and power meters; document results.
- Terminate and test fiber patch panels and cross-connects; read FTTH/OSP designs.
