University of Waterloo seeks an Undergraduate Student Relations Officer to guide initiatives that boost student engagement from admission to graduation. You will advise students academically and non-academically, with focus on first-year plans, while coordinating orientation and transition activities.

You will lead engagement programs, supervise co-op and student volunteers, and collaborate with faculty, equity offices, and campus partners to ensure inclusive student experiences.

Qualificações

• University undergraduate degree required and first aid certification.
• Three to five years of experience in student advising and diverse student groups.
• Experience coordinating undergraduate programs, events, and communications.
• Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and multiple stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Provide academic advising on course selection, degree requirements, and preregistration.
• Coordinate orientation programs and manage 3-4 student leaders and 100-200 volunteers.
• Develop and implement engagement programs and communication plans for math undergraduates.
• Collaborate with campus partners to ensure equity, diversity, and inclusion in programs.
