The Law Society of New Brunswick is the regulatory body responsible for governing the legal profession in the province of New Brunswick. Its primary role is to protect the public’s interest by ensuring that lawyers in the province meet high standards of competence, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
We are seeking a Trust Compliance Auditor to join our team of professionals. You will play a key role in the planning, administration, delivery, and continuous improvement of the Trust Account Audit Program of the Law Society in accordance with the Law Society Act, 1996, the Uniform Trust Account Rules, and the Code of Professional Conduct.
The Trust Compliance Auditor will report to the Executive Director and take functional direction from the Senior Legal Counsel as it pertains to trust accounts administration and audit programs.
This position is in Fredericton, however, the Trust Compliance Auditor may work remotely. Travel throughout New Brunswick will be required. The ability for you to work proficiently in both French and English is a must for both written and verbal communications..
