Job summary

Kal Tire in Saint John, NB is seeking a Journeyperson Truck & Trailer Technician (310T or Red Seal) to perform routine maintenance, complex repairs on semi-trucks, trailer alignments, diagnostics, electrical work, and related tasks.

This full-time role offers a starting wage of $40/hr, a $2,500 signing bonus, and a clear path to becoming Lead Technician. You will mentor apprentices, uphold safety and quality, and collaborate with a skilled team to keep vehicles on the road.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid drivers license.
• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience with brakes, shocks, and wheel alignments.
• Experience performing inspections, diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on various vehicles.
• Mentor apprentices and support skill development.

Responsibilities

• Perform brake and suspension repairs, engine diagnostics, and routine maintenance.
• Mentor and coach apprentices in a learning-focused environment.
• Collaborate with team on vehicles from passenger cars to light trucks.
• Identify service opportunities in partnership with Sales.
• Maintain high safety and quality standards.
