Job summary

The Bayview Group is hiring for our Fredericton location to fill technician roles on heavy equipment and trucks. The position offers a signing bonus for Red Seal certified technicians and opportunities to complete Block 4 toward certification.

Responsibilities

• Repair and diagnose medium and heavy-duty trucks and trailers (engines, power trains, electrical/systems, brakes, steering, suspension).
• Identify parts required for repair of disassembled units.
• Perform all levels of preventive maintenance services.
• Identify warrantable repairs and document on repair orders.
• Road test vehicles when necessary to diagnose malfunctions or verify repair results.

Key Responsibilities for a Technician:

• Demonstrate proficiency in the repair and diagnosis of medium and heavy-duty trucks and trailers, including but not limited to engines, power trains, electrical systems, steering systems, electronics, brake systems and suspension system
