Job summary

Charger Logistics Inc. in Dorval, QC is expanding its Service Department and seeking a motivated Truck & Coach Technician to join our team.

You will diagnose, inspect, and repair medium and heavy duty trucks, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure equipment is back online safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• 310T and/or 310J licenses are assets.
• Fresh graduates from Truck & coach technician or Motive Power technician courses.
• Valid G-class driver's license with clear driving record.
• Knowledge of DOT/MTO rules and regulations is an asset.
• Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive driver and owner-operator reports and diagnose issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance, brake repairs, and diagnostics on medium/heavy-duty trucks.
• Clean, repair, recondition, and maintain equipment and components.
• Restore equipment to operation in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.
• Follow Charger safety procedures.

We are currently expanding and looking to add a motivated individual to our Service Department based out of our Dorval office.

Responsibilities:

• Receive driver and owner/operator reports and conduct initial inspection to diagnose problem using test drives and test instruments, such as pressure gauges, motor analyzers, and other equipment as needed
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and repairs, air and hydraulic brake repairs, warranty procedures, steering and suspension, electrical diagnostics, etc. all on medium and heavy duty trucks
• Clean, repair, recondition and maintain equipment and components
• Responsible for getting equipment back up and running in the most efficient and cost-effective manner available
• Perform all tasks according to Charger safety procedures

Requirements:

• 310T and/or 310J licenses are an asset

• Knowledge of DOT/MTO rules and regulations is an asset
