Job summary

Kibbi is hiring a skilled truck driver to load, unload, and transport goods from our Victoria, BC facility. You will conduct routine vehicle inspections, perform basic maintenance, and communicate with central dispatch to ensure timely deliveries.

The role requires a valid Class 1 or A license and a high school diploma or equivalent; experience is considered an asset. This on-site position offers steady hours and an opportunity to contribute to our logistics team.

Qualifications

  • Valid Class 1 or A driver's license required.
  • Canadian work authorization or eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload goods.
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle.
  • Perform preventive maintenance.
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
