Job summary

Kibbi in Canada seeks a Class 1/A licensed driver for a permanent, full-time role in Edmonton. You will load and unload goods, perform inspections, and manage equipment and regulatory compliance for safe operations.

40 hours per week, English required; experience is an asset or equivalent experience may apply; a valid Class 1 or A license is required to apply.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload goods
• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
• Perform brake adjustments
• Perform emergency roadside repairs
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
• Perform preventive maintenance
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
• Transport and handle dangerous goods
