Job summary

Kibbi seeks a diligent truck driver to operate as part of a two-person team in Delta, BC. You will drive, load and unload goods, conduct inspections, and ensure cargo safety across trips.

Responsibilities include maintaining vehicle condition, logging cargo data, and performing basic maintenance. On-site work with no remote option applies. Valid licence and 1–2 years' experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of trucking experience.
  • Must hold a valid driver's licence.
  • On-site work only in Delta, BC area.

Responsibilities

  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy.
  • Load and unload goods.
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment.
  • Perform brake adjustments.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle.
  • Perform preventive maintenance.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo.
