Home Hardware, Canada’s leading independent hardware retailer, is seeking an experienced truck driver to connect with independent Dealers and deliver an industry-leading home improvement experience across Western Canada and Ontario.

The role emphasizes safe, on-time deliveries, professional conduct, and strong customer service. You will operate various routes, use on-board tech for paperwork, and enjoy a robust benefits program and stable full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Class 1 driver’s license with Q Endorsement and a clean Driver’s Abstract and CVOR.
• High school diploma.
• Mountain driving experience.
• 2–3 years of similar experience preferred with a good safety record.
• B-Train experience would be an asset.

Responsabilités

• Build relationships with independent Dealers as an ambassador for Home Hardware Stores Limited.
• Load dealer returns for transport to the Distribution Centre.
• Comply with all government regulations described in the professional Driver’s Manual.
• Operate vehicles in a safe and professional manner, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and inspecting the vehicle and trailer to ensure safe operating conditions.
• Complete and deliver all necessary paperwork using on-board technology as required, along with light computer work and data entry.

• Typically, drivers in this role earn between $80,000 and $130,000 annually.
• Earnings are based on a combination of per-kilometre rates, pick-up and delivery fees, flat-rate allowances, hourly rate for downtime or wait time, and other work-related pay components.
