Job summary

Home Hardware is hiring a Material Handler to support our distribution centres across Canada. You will pick, pack, ship and receive merchandise, ensuring accurate, timely processing for Dealer stores. The role requires physical activity, attention to detail, and a positive team attitude in a fast-paced setting.

Shifts are Nights, Sunday to Thursday, 11:00pm–7:00am, with a term contract through October 2027. Onsite attendance five days a week at our St. Jacobs corporate office is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a frequent basis.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must bend and lift as needed.
• Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail.
• Commitment to good attendance and punctuality.
• A reliable team player with a positive attitude.
• Onsite 5 days a week at our corporate office in St. Jacobs.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, ship and receive merchandise in distribution centres.
• Ensure smooth distribution to Dealer stores across Canada.
• Maintain high-quality accuracy during handling and processing of goods.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment under supervision.

As a Material Handler, you will be a key part of our distribution centres in ensuring the smooth distribution of products and materials to our Dealer stores across Canada. You will be picking, packing, shipping, and receiving merchandise so you will need to be able to perform strenuous physical activity throughout your shift. Led by the Shift Manager, this position will best suit someone who has strong attention to detail and can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.

Shift Available

Nights – Sunday to Thursday (11:00pm to 7:00am)
