Job summary

Kibbi Technologies Inc. is seeking a permanent, full-time truck driver to operate light to heavy trucks across various locations. The role includes planning routes, loading goods, and maintaining safety checks to ensure on-time delivery.

You will load/unload cargo, prepare required transport documents, and communicate with dispatch. A Class 1/1F/A licence and 1–2 years of driving experience are expected, with travel across routes and strict adherence to deadlines.

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduation certificate is required.
• 1 year to less than 2 years experience in driving/truck operations.
• Valid Class 1/1F/A Licence.
• Willingness to travel to various locations and work on road.
• Experience with coordinating dispatch and safe transport practices.

Responsibilities

• Arrange travel, itineraries and reservations.
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods.
• Load and unload goods and inspect cargo.
• Obtain special permits and documents for international routes.
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch and maintain logs.
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel usage.

WORK SETTING

TASKS

• Arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations


• Drive lighter, special purpose trucks


• Load and unload goods


• Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes


• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials


• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment


• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle


• Receive and relay information to central dispatch


• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
