Job summary

Kibbi Technologies Inc. in Calgary is seeking a permanent Truck Driver to join a two-person team, plan routes with GPS, load and unload goods, and ensure efficient, safe transport. You will communicate with dispatch and perform routine vehicle checks.

The role requires 1–2 years of driving experience, secondary school graduation, and valid AZ / Class 1 licenses with Air Brakes endorsement. The position offers full-time hours and potential for long-haul or local runs.

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent required.
• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in trucking.
• AZ license with Air Brakes Endorsement and Class 1/1F/A Licence.

Responsibilities

• Plan or adjust routes using GPS to minimize fuel use and emissions.
• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy.
• Load and unload goods.
• Inspect vehicle condition, tires, lights, brakes, and equipment.
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspections and supervise vehicle.
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled and fuel consumption.

TASKS

• Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment,
  global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to
  minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions

• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage
  and other equipment
