Job summary

Landmark Dental Centre in Kelowna, BC, is seeking a Treatment/Scheduling Coordinator to join a patient-focused team. The role involves explaining treatment plans, coordinating appointments, handling payments, and supporting the dental team to deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Previous clinical experience as a Treatment/Scheduling Coordinator is required.
• Knowledge and understanding of dental treatment plans and ability to educate patients is required.
• Experience with dental software programs is required.
• Strong customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for patients, explaining treatment plans, procedures, costs, and financing options.
• Support treatment planning by coordinating appointments and follow-ups with the dental team.
• Present treatment costs, collect payments, process insurance claims, and assist with payment plans.
• Build strong patient relationships to encourage treatment acceptance, retention, and follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure smooth scheduling to optimize chair time.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to deliver seamless, high-quality care.
• Uphold privacy, ethical, and regulatory standards in all patient interactions.

Schedule:

4 days per week (3 days: 8-4pm, 1 day: 8- close)

The wage for this position is$30-$36/hourdepending on skills, experience, and location.
