Job summary

Creative Solutions Services, LLC is seeking a Business Information Management Specialist in Toronto to support a four-person team on a project-based basis within a fast-paced financial services environment. The contractor will focus on facilitating the review of requirements and ensuring those requirements are implemented, delivered, and validated.

The role is fully internal-facing, with approximately 20–30% of time in meetings, and the contractor will not access customer data.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis, profiling, reconciliation, validation, and investigation.
• Strong knowledge of banking products and Treasury domains, including exposure to wholesale/retail and related data modeling.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale data initiatives in banking or financial services.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the review of requirements and ensure they are implemented, delivered, and validated.
• Perform advanced data analysis, profiling, reconciliation, validation, and investigation of complex data issues using SQL and Python.
• Support data sourcing, onboarding, integration, lineage analysis, and end-to-end data flows on cloud-based platforms.
• Support data quality and business validation, including analysis of mapping and transformation rules and root-cause investigation.
• Partner with technology teams to resolve data defects.
• Establish and execute disciplined testing practices for large-scale data initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional teams, drive execution, and deliver measurable business impact.
• Translate business requirements into practical data solutions and measurable outcomes.
