Job summary

Dexian is seeking a Data Project Delivery professional to join a hybrid team in Toronto. The role focuses on delivering complex data initiatives in banking/financial services, bridging business needs and technology solutions within Treasury and Investments domains.

The successful candidate will combine strong data skills with stakeholder collaboration, driving requirements, testing, validation, and end-to-end delivery across cloud-based platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of advanced SQL and Python experience for data analysis, profiling, reconciliation, validation, and investigation.
• 5+ years of experience with Banking/Financial Services data, ideally with exposure to Treasury, Investments, Wholesale and/or Retail banking.
• Strong understanding of Treasury data products, financial product data modelling, and enterprise data environments.
• 5+ years of experience delivering large scale and complex data initiatives, translating business requirements into practical data solutions.
• Strong experience with project testing and data validation disciplines.
• Experience with modern cloud-based data platforms and end-to-end data flows.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate requirements review and ensure requirements are translated into effective data solutions.
• Coordinate implementation, testing, validation, and delivery of data initiatives.
• Analyze complex data issues and support reconciliation, investigation, and root-cause analysis.
• Work with technology and business stakeholders to resolve data quality and implementation issues.
• Support data sourcing, onboarding, integration, lineage analysis, and source-to-target mapping.
• Drive testing activities including test planning, test-case development, requirements traceability, defect management, regression testing, and test evidence.
• Lead cross-functional teams and help drive projects through successful delivery.
