Job summary

First Onsite Property Restoration seeks a hands-on Travelling Commercial Superintendent to oversee field operations for commercial reconstruction and contracting across Central Canada. This 12-month temporary contract role requires on-site work with rotations, travel provided by the company, and leadership of crews and subcontractors to meet safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction or restoration experience with a strong background in site supervision or field management.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in construction or related field an asset.
• Knowledge of commercial building codes, safety regulations, and inspection requirements.
• Proven ability to organize, schedule, and direct multiple crews and subcontractors.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with a focus on teamwork and accountability.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with project management software and mobile applications.
• IICRC certifications or equivalent an asset; ability to obtain provincial asbestos certification required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving abstract.
• Must be able to participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
• Ability to travel extensively, including remote areas, and work within a rotational schedule.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate crews and subcontractors to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Inspect sites daily, enforce safety standards, and ensure quality workmanship.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and adjusters to resolve issues quickly.
• Maintain clear documentation of progress and communicate changes to stakeholders.
