Qualifications

• Heavy Equipment experience of 3–5+ years.
• 3–5+ years related experience plus 2+ years aerial experience.
• Possess a valid Heavy Equipment Service Technician License with 3–5 years of related experience.
• Experience in customer service.
• Strong mechanical background with engines and hydraulic systems.
• Good understanding of schematics and diagrams.
• Exhibit teamwork.
• Employees are expected to own the tools applicable to position.
• Knowledge of equipment from Skyjack, JLG and Genie is an asset.
• Ability to test equipment up to 180 feet in the air; Heights safety training provided.
• Geographical focus is regions around GGTA and Greater Hamilton Areas.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment.
• Travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance; keep service vehicle clean and professional.
• Assist in training of lower level technicians as needed.
• Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) daily.
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts.
• Other duties as required.
