Are you an Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP) seeking an exciting work experience in Nunavut or Manitoba? Do you want to make a difference in patients' lives while exploring new locations? We offer a unique opportunity to expand your clinical scope and enjoy an adventure, with assignment durations typically ranging from 2 to 3 weeks.

The Work You Will Do

• Provide primary and emergency care in clinic-based environments, serving residents from newborns to elders in nursing stations or health centers.
• Perform health promotion, assessments, and implement care following best practice clinical guidelines, covering primary and emergency care.
• Work as part of a care team with nurses in clinics handling urgent/non-urgent walk-ins, similar to walk-in clinics, including primary care follow-ups. These clinics also serve as ERs in communities without emergency departments.
• Deliver acute and primary care with the ability to think quickly, prioritize patient needs, and react promptly, as there are no physicians on-site.

Who You Are

• You are a graduate of an accredited Paramedic Program, practicing in good standing.
• You have or are willing to obtain the necessary license through the relevant provincial or territorial regulating body.
• You meet the required work experience criteria.
• Mandatory skills and additional training requirements will be discussed during the interview.
