Job summary

REIC Rentals (Cahill Heating) is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair heating equipment at customer locations and company facilities across North America.

You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, and provide excellent customer service in the field while completing service documentation using company technology. Travel up to 50% to support customer and project needs.

Qualifications

• Mechanical, diesel, HVAC, or industrial technical experience is required.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to tow trailers or learn.
• Commitment to safety and safe work practices.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair heating equipment at customer locations and company facilities.
• Perform preventative maintenance to keep equipment operating at peak performance and rental-ready condition.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and implement timely solutions.
• Provide exceptional customer service while representing REIC professionally in the field.
• Train customers on the safe and effective operation of equipment.
• Complete service documentation using company-provided technology.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure projects stay on schedule.
• Travel up to 50% throughout North America supporting customer and project needs.
