Job summary

The Family Centre is seeking a full-time Family Time Support Worker to assist marginalized children and families involved with Children and Family Services. You will focus on trauma-informed care, parent-child attachment, and strengthening parenting skills in community and home settings.

This role requires a diploma or degree in a related field, experience with CFS or family support is an asset, and strong organizational and documentation abilities.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Human Services, Social Work, or related field.
• Experience with Children and Family Services or family support is asset.
• Computer literacy including MS Office and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Support marginalized children and families involved with Children and Family Services.
• Facilitate family time between parents and children in the community and homes.
• Transport children to family time and assist with childcare as needed.
• Complete formal documentation objectively.
