Job summary

Canadian Natural Resources Limited is offering a 12‑month student supply chain internship in Nisku, AB, starting January 2027. The role includes coordinating transportation for the Supply Management team, collaborating with carriers, and handling expedites while ensuring compliance and safety.

You will audit invoices, assist with regulatory submissions, and contribute to major projects with a focus on logistics and warehousing knowledge. A valid Alberta driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of an undergraduate degree (or minor) in Supply Chain Management or relevant program.
• Possess a valid Class 5 GDL Alberta driver's license or equivalent out of province license.
• Knowledge of MS Office Suite, warehousing and distribution, and customs documentation is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the coordination of transportation services for the Supply Management team.
• Work with carriers to achieve Canadian Natural's business needs.
• Arrange critical expedited freight (Hot Shots).
• Consult on logistical service needs for other business units and projects for Canadian Natural.
• Audit service provider invoices.
• Understand and provide guidance on basic customs requirements for importing/exporting from Canada.
• Assist with ongoing logistics activities for Major Projects.
• Complete Worksite Safety Hazard Observations.
• Assist with the generation of supporting data and forms for regulatory application submissions, reports and publications.
