Job summary

Insight Global in Cambridge, ON is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to join a top retail client’s Transportation team. This fully onsite role requires 12-hour overnight shifts from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM, including weekends, and involves supporting day-to-day transportation operations.

You will review driver information, maintain route and vehicle documentation, update transportation systems and SharePoint, and process invoices and POs.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in transportation, supply chain, warehouse, or similar operations.
• Strong organization and multitasking with data-entry in Excel.
• Strong communication and ability to coordinate with drivers, vendors, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

Insight Global is looking for a Transportation Coordinator to join a top retail client's Transportation team in Cambridge, ON. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting day-to-day transportation operations, including reviewing driver information, maintaining route and vehicle documentation, updating transportation systems and SharePoint, processing invoices and POs, and preparing driver scorecards, cost-efficiency reports, and other operational KPIs. The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of experience in transportation, supply chain, warehouse, or a similar operational environment, with strong organizational, communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 1+ years of related experience within transportation, supply chain, warehouse, logistics, or a similar operational environment
• Strong organization and multitasking skills with the ability to manage significant documentation/data (data entry in Excel)
• Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with drivers, vendors, and internal teams

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience using a Transportation Management System (TMS)
• Experience with driver documentation, pre-trips, maintenance records, or transportation compliance paperwork
• Experience creating or maintaining KPI/cost-efficiency reports
• Experience with POs, invoices, claims, or vendor coordination
