  • Level 1 independent adjusting license or willingness to obtain.
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license required.

About the Opportunity:
Our valued client, an established and award-winning brokerage in Edmonton, AB, is looking to add a motivated and detail-oriented Sr. Transportation Claims Adjuster to their expanding team. Known for their dynamic culture and strong industry presence since 2009, they’ve built a reputation for excellence in customer service and employee satisfaction.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  1. Support the investigation and resolution of auto and cargo claims
  2. Conduct interviews with insured parties, claimants, and witnesses
  3. Assess damage on-site and inspect relevant equipment
  4. Coordinate with external vendors and manage salvage processes
  5. Maintain detailed and accurate claim documentation
  6. Represent the company at industry and networking events as needed
  7. Strengthen client relationships through file reviews and ongoing communication
  8. Adhere to established workflows and manage claims efficiently

What You Bring to the Table:

  1. Level 1 independent adjusting license (or willingness to obtain)
  2. Valid Class 5 driver’s license
  3. High school diploma
  4. Commissioner of Oaths (or willingness to obtain)
  5. Solid understanding of insurance and transportation-related claims
  6. Proficient with Microsoft Office and Outlook
  7. Comfortable working remotely or in a hybrid office environment
  8. Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills
  9. Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
  10. Professionalism, integrity, and a positive attitude
  11. Physically able to inspect claims (climbing/lifting up to 40 lbs. as needed)

Bonus Points for:

  1. Experience with Mitchell or similar adjusting/estimating platforms
  2. Familiarity with EPIC or other industry software
