Job summary

Metro Supply Chain in Mississauga is seeking a Transportation Billing and Payables Supervisor to lead a high-volume billing team, manage AR and AP processes, and optimize cash flow using Blue Yonder (TMS) and TMW.

You will ensure accuracy of bills of lading, fuel surcharges, and carrier payments, mentor staff, collaborate with sales and operations, and drive continuous process improvements in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years in transport accounting/billing with supervisory experience.
• Must be proficient in English; French is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor AR/AP billing clerks.
• Balance workloads across billing, collections, and carrier settlements.
• Oversee Blue Yonder and TMW data flow between transportation management and accounting modules.
• Audit rate confirmations, BOL, and POD for accuracy.
• Identify system inefficiencies and train staff on best practices.
