Job summary

Recochem Inc. in Montreal seeks an Accounts Payable and Transportation Technician to ensure timely and accurate invoice posting through efficient processes.

You will handle high-volume AP, audit EDI/carrier invoices, and coordinate with vendors using the Oracle Transportation Management System. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in transportation/freight AP, knowledge of freight docs, rates, and fuel surcharges, and strong ERP experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in commerce or DEC in accounting.
• 3+ years in transportation/freight or manufacturing AP.
• Experience with transportation invoices and related docs (BOL, POD).
• Familiarity with freight rates and fuel surcharge.
• Proficient in ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• High volume AP processing with multiple vendor assignments.
• Audit EDI and carrier portal invoices and ensure billing rates and accessorial fees are aligned to contract pricing in Oracle Transportation Management System.
• Work directly with vendors to manage end-to-end invoicing and timely processing; trouble-shoot EDI invoice submittals with vendors, and train vendors to use portal as needed.
