Job summary

Kibbi in Ayr, Ontario is seeking a skilled Truck and Transport Mechanic for a permanent role in our workshop. You will inspect, repair, and test truck and trailer systems, explain findings to supervisors, and provide high quality service to customers.

The position requires 2–3 years of experience, a secondary school certificate, and relevant trade certifications; we offer a stable environment, ongoing training, and opportunities to mentor apprentices.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience in truck/auto repair.

Responsibilities

  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck/ trailer systems.
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
  • Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements.
  • Review work orders and complete reports of problems and work performed.
  • Coach and instruct apprentices in workshop tasks.
  • Provide customer service and maintain safety standards.
