Job summary

Mariner Innovations in Halifax is seeking an experienced Training Manager to lead learning strategies for a large-scale transformation. You will shape adoption, readiness, and capability development across diverse stakeholders.

You will design curricula, assessments, and tailored learning experiences, while coaching teams and ensuring ongoing adoption and feedback loops. A strategic, hands-on leader will thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience designing and leading learning strategies for large-scale transformations.
• Solid knowledge of adult learning principles and organizational change.
• Experience creating learning roadmaps, curricula, and role-based training.
• Ability to deliver learning solutions across instructor-led, virtual, self-paced, and digital formats.
• Experience translating new processes into practical, user-focused learning experiences.
• Experience with adoption, reinforcement, coaching, and post-training support.
• Strong client-facing stakeholder management and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the learning, training, and adoption strategy.
• Assess training needs and build roadmaps, curricula, and training plans.
• Design learning solutions across instructor-led, virtual, self-paced, and eLearning formats.
• Create job aids, guides, videos, and knowledge articles.
• Tailor learning experiences for diverse internal and external groups.
• Develop adoption approaches, coaching, and ongoing support.
• Support readiness assessments, evaluations, and knowledge validation.
• Monitor training effectiveness and drive improvements.
