Job summary

RBC Investor Services in Mississauga is seeking a detail‑oriented Operations Processing professional to ensure cases are completed accurately, on target, and within regulatory standards, focusing on First Time Right Processing and quality control to maximize client experience.

You will handle pre-screening, input of financial transactions, SLA monitoring, reconciliation and settlement, and client communication, contributing to efficient operations and high accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Experience within Shareholder Services or similar multi-client mutual fund administration environment.
  • Good working knowledge / experience in the financial services industry, specifically in Mutual fund and Segregated Funds administration.
  • Sound knowledge of Mutual Fund and Segregated Fund taxation and compliance /regulation – including Registered Products.
  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, high stress environment.
  • Communicate effectively with both internal and external client groups.

Responsibilities

  • Pre-screen, prepare and input all financial and various non-financial transactions by standard cut off times. Includes but is not limited to: account set-up; redemptions, purchases, switches, non-complex NIGOs, direct trade and wire order placement and settlement
  • Monitor and clear Workflow/Capture items within Service Level Agreements(SLA)
  • Apply all quality control procedures
  • Reconciliation and settlement of daily trades
  • Daily deposits and cheque processes
  • Message all accounts where unusual actions have occurred
  • Audit Transactions, question procedures, suggest improvements to processes and give accurate feedback to team members to help reduce errors and ensure a high accuracy rate

Must Have

  • Unitrax Recordkeeping System knowledge
  • FundSERV knowledge
  • Ability to read/write French is an asset
