Elk Valley Resources (EVR) is seeking a dedicated Training Coordinator to develop, implement, and deliver comprehensive training programs for Mine Operations. You will lead a team of hourly trainers and ensure training aligns with site priorities and safety standards.

The role emphasizes hands-on, classroom, and field training for Heavy Equipment Operation, with strong emphasis on documentation, scheduling, and continuous improvement in safety and efficiency. A 4x4 shift rotation is involved.

Formación

• Minimum three years of experience in training or mentoring others.
• At least three years’ experience in an industrial environment with exposure to heavy equipment.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
• Strong digital literacy with Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
• Advanced communication and interpersonal abilities to engage diverse teams.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in and uphold health and safety programs and policies.
• Lead and coordinate a team of hourly trainers to align with Mine Operations priorities.
• Develop and deliver Heavy Equipment Operation training programs including hands-on and classroom formats.
• Conduct Equipment Operator performance reviews to improve skills and safety.
• Collaborate with supervisors to assess training needs and develop effective solutions.
• Coordinate training schedules and document activities for compliance.
• Assist with training documentation and site requirements.
