Job summary

Elk Valley Resources (EVR) is seeking a Senior Maintenance Training Coordinator to lead the development, implementation, and delivery of maintenance training for the Elkview Mine. You will work with the Senior Lead Training and Development and collaborate across departments to build effective training programs and materials while maintaining accurate records.

Ideal candidates will have a Journeyperson Red Seal Ticket, at least 2 years in a trade/training/supervisor role, strong project/change

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Red Seal Ticket.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in either a trade, training, or supervisor role.
• Strong experience in Project Management and Change Management.
• Excellent digital literacy and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies.
• Provide and source training which includes job based, and developmental instruction using materials created internally and externally.
• Deliver comprehensive training based on safe work practices and training requirements, including lesson plans for apprentices and OEM Training.
• Provide direction to management and collaborate with multiple departments to determine, prepare, and develop training needs and priorities, assess training programs, and develop training courses, plans, and solutions.
• Deliver lectures and presentations.
• Partner with other sites to help develop training content for Journeypersons and apprentices.
