Reporting to the Training Manager - the Training Coordinator (Mine), designs and implements the Division's training programs for the mine to maintain and improve safety, maintenance, and production, for hourly and salaried employees.
What you will do:
· Identification and analysis of training needs
· Development and implementation of new training materials, programs, modules and delivery of such programs to all employees
· Assisting and instructing employees in training programs onsite and organizing off site training as required to fit specific needs for hourly and salaried employees.
· Supervise/direct the day-to-day activities of the Mine Trainers to facilitate the effective management of Nutrien training programs.
· Collaborate with internal stakeholders to schedule and deliver training programs, liaise with external agencies for trade certification, and supports employee development through tailored training initiatives.
· Assist with budget preparation, reporting, and participation on committees as directed
· Maintain and work within the Learning Management and Learning Content Systems
· Aid in the training and development of employees through the use of the Learning Management and Learning Content Systems
What you will bring:
· A degree/diploma in Business, Education, HR or other related field preferred
· Certificate in Adult Education preferred
· 4 - 6 years of Learning Management Systems (LMS) training and background in a training specific role would be asset.
· Understanding of safety protocols and Human Resources procedures and systems
· Proficiency in MS Office
· Superior interpersonal and communication skills
· Team player attitude
· Good knowledge of mine operation and maintenance training needs
· Supervisor certification, or the ability to obtain required supervision certificate.
