Job summary

Info-Tech Research Group is seeking an experienced Learning & Development professional to own the end-to-end onboarding program for the sales organization, ensuring a structured, engaging ramp for new hires.

You will design curricula, coach new hires, and collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to drive measurable enablement outcomes and improvements in time-to-productivity.

Job description

  • Own the end-to-end new hire onboarding program for the sales organization, ensuring a structured, engaging learning experience for new sales employees.
  • Manage logistics, scheduling, and execution of onboarding programs to facilitate a smooth transition and effective ramp-up into their sales roles.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to new hires, identifying skill gaps and offering resources and support to help them reach full productivity.
  • Sales Training Content & Curriculum Development
  • Design, develop, and maintain sales training curricula, learning materials, and tools that support sales enablement goals.
  • Partner with sales leaders, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to build engaging, effective learning content grounded in instructional design best practices and aligned with the sales process.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve existing sales training programs based on feedback, performance data, and evolving sales methodologies.
  • Support Execution of Quarterly Sales Enablement Plans
  • Help implement and execute quarterly learning and development plans aligned with sales organization priorities and broader business goals.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product, and other departments to deliver training, coordinate learning activities, and drive measurable outcomes.
  • Lead or support the rollout of sales enablement programs and initiatives, including new tools, processes, or methodologies.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and project teams to ensure programs are delivered on time, within budget, and meet defined objectives.
Success Metrics –

Performance in this role will be evaluated based on measurable improvements to sales team performance and enablement outcomes, including:

  • Time to productivity: Reduction in ramp time for new sales hires to reach quota or target performance.
  • Onboarding effectiveness: new hire completion rates, satisfaction scores, and early performance benchmarks.
  • Training engagement & completion: Participation and completion rates across required and optional training programs.
  • Knowledge & skill retention: Improvement in assessment scores, certification pass rates or observed skill application post-training.
  • Sales performance impact: Correlation between enablement initiatives and key sales outcomes (e.g., quota attainment, win rates, deal cycle time).
  • Stakeholder feedback: Satisfaction ratings from sales leaders and reps on the relevance and quality of training and enablement support.
  • Program delivery: On-time, on-budget execution of quarterly plans and enablement project rollouts.
Qualifications -
  • Bachelor’s degree in education, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in learning and development, training, instructional design, or sales enablement.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and sales processes.
  • Excellent content creation, curriculum design, and facilitation skills.
  • Experience managing learning programs or projects, with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across sales and other departments.
  • Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS) and other training/development tools.
