Voyago, a Transdev Ontario company, is hiring a Full-Time Driver Trainer based in our Hanover office to support Grey Bruce schools operations. The role involves training employees to drive company-owned vehicles safely, delivering official training programs, and providing excellent customer service while upholding a safety-first culture.

The position offers an hourly rate of 25 CAD, with Monday to Friday schedules and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid B or E Class License held for a minimum of 3 years
• Clean Driver Abstract with no demerit points
• Clean Criminal Record Search with Vulnerable Sector Screening
• Proven track record of excellent customer service
• Strong knowledge of Grey Bruce and surrounding areas

Responsibilities

• Conduct Driver Assessments to evaluate skill, safety, and readiness
• Deliver Voyago Division Training Programs in accordance with company standards and policies
• Facilitate License Upgrading programs, specifically for B Class licensing
• Lead external instructional training sessions as required
• Support the Operations Manager with additional duties and projects as assigned
• Ready and able to drive as a substitute to assist the operations team as required

About the Role

We're currently recruiting a Full-Time Driver Trainer to support our growing Grey Bruce Schools operations. In this role, you'll play a critical part in shaping the next generation of professional drivers while ensuring we continue to deliver exceptional service and uphold our safety-first culture.

Hourly Rate: $25.00

Schedule: Monday to Friday (weekends based on demand)

Primary Responsibilities

The Driver Trainer is responsible for training and teaching employees how to drive all Company owned vehicles in a safe and professional manner. The role also includes providing a high degree of customer service in a fast-paced work environment.

• Conduct Driver Assessments to evaluate skill, safety, and readiness.
• Deliver Voyago Division Training Programs in accordance with company standards and policies.
• Facilitate License Upgrading programs, specifically for B Class licensing.
• Lead external instructional training sessions as required.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications that include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Valid B or E Class License held for a minimum of 3 years required
• Clean Driver Abstract with no demerit points required
• Clean Criminal Record Search with Vulnerable Sector Screening required
• Proven track record of excellent customer service
• Strong knowledge of Grey Bruce and surrounding areas
• Effective organizational and communication skills
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends as required
• Understanding of the vehicle-for-hire industry and relevant regulations
• Familiarity with wheelchair tie-down systems (Q'Straint and similar)
• Possess a signing authority
