Voyago is now hiring part-time School Bus Drivers for the 2026/2027 school year in Grey Bruce. This role offers flexible hours with mornings and afternoons, ideal for retirees, parents, or anyone seeking meaningful part-time work.

Drivers will transport students safely, perform pre/post-trip inspections, and maintain a clean vehicle. Training is provided, and opportunities with a global group are available.

Qualifications

• You are safety focused.
• You hold a valid minimum full G-class driver’s licence for at least 1 year.
• You are 21 years of age or over.
• You are a safe driver with a clean driving record.
• You can obtain a clean criminal record search with vulnerable-sector screening.
• You have the ability to work independently.
• You are available for the required shifts: Monday to Friday roughly 6:30 am–9:30 am and 2:30 pm–4:30 pm.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school across the community.
• Prioritize student safety during boarding, transit, and exiting the vehicle.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure safe operation.
• Maintain bus cleanliness and assist with basic upkeep.
• Complete daily Hours of Service reports and required documentation.
• Report mechanical issues promptly to ensure safe operation.
• Address student behaviour issues following company procedures.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.

Voyago is now hiring Part‑Time School Bus Drivers for the 2026/2027 school year, and we’re looking for friendly faces ready to help keep students moving safely across the city!

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students within your community to and from school, ensuring a reliable and positive experience each day.
• Prioritize student safety at all times, including during boarding, transit, and exiting the vehicle.
• Conduct thorough pre‑and post‑trip inspections to ensure the bus remains in proper and safe operating condition.
• Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the bus, including assisting with fueling and basic upkeep to present a well‑kept, professional vehicle.
• Accurately complete daily Hours of Service reports and maintain required documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Immediately report any mechanical issues or concerns affecting the safe operation of the vehicle.
• Address and report any student behaviour issues in a timely and professional manner, following company procedures.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with safety practices, policies, and regulations.
• Demonstrate professionalism, patience, and care while fostering a safe and respectful environment for all passengers.

Requirements

• You are safety focused.
• You hold a valid minimum full G‑class driver’s licence for at least 1 year.
  • If you don’t currently hold a B or E‑class licence, Voyago will provide full training at no cost.
• You are 21 years of age or over.
• You are a safe driver with a clean driving record.
• You can obtain a clean criminal record search with vulnerable‑sector screening.
• You have a sound knowledge of Grey Bruce and surrounding areas.
• You have the ability to work independently.
• You are available for the required shifts:
  • Monday to Friday approximately 6:30 am to 9:30 am and 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm (start and end times will vary depending on the specific details of each route).
• You possess solid communication skills.
• You enjoy being around children of all ages.
• You are comfortable driving in all types of weather and road conditions.
• You are comfortable driving large vehicles.
