Job summary

CoFoMo Inc. is seeking an experienced trainer to design, develop and deliver comprehensive project management training. You will tailor content for diverse participant profiles, create materials, and facilitate in-person, remote, or hybrid sessions across PMO maturity initiatives.

You will align curricula with PMI/PRINCE2/Agile approaches, coach teams, evaluate outcomes and drive continuous improvement. Montreal-based role with hybrid opportunities and organizational impact.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate experience delivering at least two training mandates in portfolio, program and project management (PPM).
• Experience in maturing or structuring a PMO/BGP.
• Master Quebec normative frameworks for information resources management.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and update project management training content.
• Develop training paths adapted to different participant profiles.
• Produce teaching materials (guides, presentations, workshops, case studies, exercises).
• Ensure alignment with standards, methodologies and best practices.
• Prepare and facilitate face-to-face, remote or hybrid training.
• Adapt pedagogical approaches to participant maturity and experience.
• Promote learning through interactive workshops, simulations and hands-on exercises.
• Answer participants' questions and facilitate integration of concepts into work context.
• Support managers and teams in applying project management methods and processes.
• Provide coaching to support practice adoption and foster communities of practice.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and measure achievement of educational objectives.
• Gather feedback and recommend improvements.
• Update content per changing practices and organizational needs.
• Advise on ways to improve organizational maturity in project management.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Here's a brief overview of the tasks and responsibilities you'll be able to do:

• Design, develop and update project management training content.
• Develop training paths adapted to different participant profiles.
• Produce teaching materials, including guides, presentations, workshops, case studies and exercises.
• Ensure alignment of content with standards, methodologies and organizational best practices.
• Prepare and facilitate face-to-face, remote or hybrid training.
• Adapt pedagogical approaches to the level of maturity and experience of the participants.
• Promote learning through interactive workshops, simulations and hands-on exercises.
• Answer participants' questions and facilitate the integration of concepts into their work context.
• Support managers and teams in the application of project management methods, tools and processes.
• Provide coaching to support the appropriation of practices and contribute to the development of communities of practice.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training activities and measure the achievement of educational objectives.
• Gather feedback from participants and recommend areas for improvement.
• Update content according to changing practices, tools and organizational needs.
• To make recommendations to improve organizational maturity in project management.

Profile

The profile you are looking for is as follows:

• Demonstrate experience in carrying out at least two (2) training mandates in portfolio, program and project management (PPM).
• Experience in setting up, structuring or improving the organizational maturity of a project office (PMO/BGP).
• Master Quebec's government normative frameworks for the management of information resources.
• Knowledge of recognized project management methodologies, including PMI, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, SAFe or hybrid approaches.
• Experience in organizational or technological transformation contexts.
• Have a change management certification, including Prosci or equivalent certification (an asset).
• Hold a PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2, Agile or equivalent certification (an asset).
