Job summary

CoFoMo Inc. is seeking an experienced project management leader to guide multiple programs and ensure alignment with strategic objectives. You will plan, organize, and control activities and resources to meet deadlines, costs, and quality while engaging stakeholders.

Apply PMI best practices, supervise cross-functional teams, and uphold governance across the organization. Drive continuous improvement in project management and accountability to sponsors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or college diploma with significant relevant experience (as stated).
  • 10+ years of experience managing large-scale transformational programs.
  • Experience as Scrum Master in complex environments; strong political acumen in multi-stakeholder contexts.
  • Proven ability to use project tracking, monitoring, and control tools effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, direct and control project activities and resources to meet objectives, deadlines, costs and quality.
  • Plan projects and manage them according to PMI best practices (integration, content, deadlines, costs, quality, resources, communications, risks and procurement).
  • Mobilize, supervise and coordinate project teams in matrix mode and manage internal/external resources.
  • Ensure compliance with current project management practices, methodologies and processes.
  • Manage project budgets and associated administrative processes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of project and program management approaches and governance.
  • Support different areas of the organization in applying project management principles.
  • Implement governance to ensure sound and efficient project management.
  • Ensure accountability of projects to authorities and sponsors.
  • Perform other related responsibilities.

Job description

Here is a brief overview of the tasks and responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, direct and control the activities and resources required to achieve the objectives of the mandate, ensuring compliance with deadlines, costs, quality, integration with operations, stakeholder management and change management
  • Plan projects and manage them according to PMI best practices (integration, content, deadlines, costs, quality, resources, communications, risks and procurement)?
  • Mobilize, supervise and coordinate one or more project teams in matrix mode as well as all the required internal and external resources?
  • Ensure compliance with current project management practices, methodologies and processes?
  • Manage project budgets and associated administrative processes?
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project and program management approaches, methods and practices?
  • Support different areas of the organization in the application of project management principles?
  • Implement appropriate governance to ensure sound and efficient project management?
  • Ensure the accountability of the projects under his/her responsibility to the authorities concerned?
  • Perform any other responsibilities or related activities related to the given mandate.
Profile we are looking for is as follows:
  • Hold an undergraduate degree in engineering, information technology, management or a relevant discipline?
  • Possess a college diploma combined with a minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience, considered equivalent to a bachelor's degree?
  • Have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in managing large-scale and transformational programs comparable to the mandate?
  • Carry out at least three (3) relevant mandates of comparable level?
  • Demonstrate advanced project management expertise?
  • Exercising a Scrum Master role in complex environments?
  • Demonstrate excellent political acumen in a multi-stakeholder context?
  • Mastering change management practices in organizational transformation projects?
  • Demonstrate a strong background in managing large projects?
  • Use project tracking, monitoring, and control tools effectively.
