Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold a 3rd Class Power Engineering Certification.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills and software tools.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• May be required to work on a 4 on/4 off, 12-hour rotating shift schedule in the plant.
• Must be able to work at heights, night shifts, and be available for overtime on short notice.
• Train and successfully qualify in the operations of the assigned department.
• Collect and prepare process samples for analysis and perform product testing as required.
• Record plant operating parameters accurately and document process conditions.
• Perform housekeeping duties and complete cleaning checklists in the department.
• Assist operators during startup, shutdown, and emergency or process upset conditions.
• Perform safety inspections and participate in Near Miss Reports and PQSE trainings.
• Comply with all safety procedures when handling and unloading deliveries of chemicals.
• Maintain QA and food safety systems such as QMS, HACCP, GMP and related BNA systems.
• Contribute to supplying safe food and uphold a food safety culture at the site.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
