Bunge is hiring a New Hire Trainee - 3rd Class Power Engineer in Nipawin, Saskatchewan, Canada. The role involves reporting to refinery supervisors and safely operating refinery equipment.

Responsibilities

• May be required to work on a 4 on/4 off, 12-hour rotating shift schedule in the plant.
• Successful applicant must be able to work at heights, be able to work night shifts, possess good colour vision and must be available at short notice for overtime work.
• Train and successfully qualify in the operations of the assigned department.
• Collect and prepare process samples for analysis and perform product testing as required.
• Accurately record plant operating process parameters and document process conditions.
• Perform housekeeping duties and complete housekeeping/cleaning checklist in and around the department to which he or she is assigned.
• Assist operators during startup, shutdown and emergency or process upset conditions.
• Perform various plant safety inspections as required.
• Participate in identifying and documenting Near Miss Reports, toolbox talks, Pre-JHAs, JHAs, monthly PQSE training, weekly plant evacuation drills.
• Comply with all Bunge safety procedures during handling and unloading deliveries of chemicals.
• To maintain relevant aspects of the quality and food/feed safety system such as QMS, HACCP, GMP, and other BNA systems.
• Commitment to supply safe food, maintain a food safety culture within the site, continually improve the'snbsp;site's food safety management system; and comply with customer and regulatory requirements.
• Perform other duties assigned from time to time.
