Job summary

Bunge operates a production facility in Wainwright, Alberta seeking an Operator to join our team. You will be responsible for control room operations, boilers and equipment operation, and loading/unloading railcars and trucks on a 12-hour rotating shift.

Qualifications

• 4th Class Power Engineering certification is required.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work outdoors.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to multitask and work safely both individually and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety standards and enforce safety compliance across the department.
• Monitor plant equipment conditions and flows.
• Put equipment in or out of service for production or maintenance.
• Prepare equipment for maintenance as required.
• Load and unload railcars and trucks as needed.
• Clean production areas as scheduled each shift.
• Monitor boiler room and cooling tower inventories.
• Perform weekly and monthly tasks per schedules.
• Write work orders as required.
• Conduct shift readings and de-ice cooling tower when needed.
• Take on additional duties as required.
