Job summary

Manac in Moncton, NB, is seeking a skilled Trailer Mechanic for our evening shift at the Parts & Service Center. You will diagnose, repair, weld, and maintain trailers and related equipment in a fast-paced shop.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as a trailer mechanic (heavy duty mechanic)
• Experience with trailer frames, axles, suspensions, brakes, and electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and work orders
• Strong understanding of shop and job-site safety practices

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial trailers
• Complete welding and fabrication work (MIG required; stick/TIG an asset)
• Repair or replace brakes, suspension components, electrical systems, and trailer structures
• Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure safety and compliance standards
• Accurately document work performed and maintain detailed service records
• Follow all company and industry safety protocols
• Work collaboratively with shop staff to maintain efficient workflow

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Trailer Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, welding, and maintaining a variety of trailers and related equipment. Schedule

• Regular night shift: Monday to Thursday, 3;00 PM – 1;00 PM

• Remunaration according to experience of; 25.96 to 37.46$/hour
