NorthEast Truck and Trailer in Dartmouth, NS is seeking a Trailer Technician (Entry-Level or Apprentice) for full-time work at our Dartmouth location. No prior trailer experience is required; we provide in-house training and mentorship to help you grow in a hands-on, busy shop.

You will learn repair, maintenance and inspection of commercial trailers, and assist with brakes, electrical systems, and other components while prioritizing safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude is essential for diagnosing and repairing trailers.
• No prior trailer experience is required as on-the-job training will be provided.
• Open to fresh graduates, career changers, and those seeking an apprenticeship.
• A valid driver’s license and a commitment to safety are required.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform the repair, maintenance, and inspection of commercial trailers.
• Assist with trailer brakes, body, bearings, suspension, electrical, and air systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults with team support.
• Complete work orders accurately and maintain a clean, safe shop environment.
• Follow all company health and safety procedures.

We currently have a full-time position available for a Trailer Technician (Entry-Level or Apprentice) at our Dartmouth, NS location.
