Nasdaq, Inc. in Toronto is seeking a Software Developer to join a growing team serving US exchange operations and our Ocean trading systems, with support beyond normal hours.

This hands-on role rewards technical sharpness and a fast-paced environment where the software you build fuels global trading infrastructure. You will design, develop, test, and deliver secure software for a tokenized trading system, own the full delivery lifecycle, and collaborate with global teams to optimize performance,

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–10 years of hands-on software development experience, with strong proficiency in Core Java (OOP).
• Solid working knowledge of Linux operating systems, including command-line tools, log analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Practical experience with Perl, Shell scripting, or Python to automate tasks and support software development or production operations.
• Experience with software testing and debugging, including unit and integration testing, root-cause analysis, and diagnosing performance issues.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical designs, document issues and resolutions, and collaborate across global teams.
