Job summary

TD Securities is hiring a Sr. Full Stack Engineer in Toronto (Hybrid). The role focuses on building the next generation of a risk computation platform, handling billions of calculations daily with big data storage.

You will work across trading, treasury, and risk management, delivering scalable, end-to-end solutions using Java, Spring, and microservices on a modern tech stack. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of Java experience, strong JVM knowledge, and hands-on work with

Qualifications

8+ years of Java experience with strong JVM understanding.
Experience with the Spring stack and microservice development using Spring Boot.
Big Data technologies experience (Databricks, Hadoop, Spark or similar).
Experience designing and integrating REST API endpoints.
Proficiency in RDBMS and SQL.
Experience with Git and CI/CD toolchains (Maven/Gradle), Jenkins, in an Agile environment.
Strong understanding of system design, scalability, and clean coding practices.
Knowledge of messaging systems such as Kafka; cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) a plus.
Experience with Angular or React is a plus.

Responsibilities

Architect and deliver end-to-end system design specs with accountability for technical design and delivery.
Develop scalable funding and liquidity analytics platform features for TD Securities.
Collaborate with global teams across trading, treasury, risk management, and other stakeholders.
Provide technical leadership and promote DevOps practices and CI/CD tooling.
