Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services in Pleasant View Towers is seeking a Trades Worker II (Carpenter) to supervise carpentry staff and contribute to maintenance, repair and renovation work on wooden structures. You will estimate costs, order materials, perform preventive maintenance and liaise with contractors.

The position is in the Eastern Urban Zone, is a temporary full-time role until October 18, 2027, with potential extension and on-call weekend shifts.

Job Summary

The Trades Worker II (Carpenter) is a journeyperson level position that supervises staff involved in carpentry work. This position may include participating in the maintenance, repair and renovation of wooden structures (cabinets, desks, displays, workstations, etc.) using woodworking machinery and hand tools, estimating cost and ordering materials and supplies, performing preventative maintenance on various equipment and machines and liaising and communicating with contractors and performing other related duties as required.

Job Qualifications
