Job summary

GenMec ACL Inc. is seeking a Journeyperson Carpenter to join our construction team on varied site projects. You will perform high-quality carpentry on-site, interpret blueprints and plans, and maintain safety standards.

We value experienced tradespeople with strong teamwork and the ability to work outdoors in changing conditions. Expect 40-hour weeks with potential overtime and weekend shifts, and competitive hourly pay of CAD 38–40.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in construction with a strong carpentry focus.
• Journeyman Carpenter Ticket preferred; safety certifications (First Aid, CSTS, WHMIS, Work Hub Orientation, etc.) and a valid driver’s license are assets.
• English language skills preferred.
• Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs and working outdoors in variable conditions.

Working Conditions

This role requires working on construction sites, often outdoors in variable weather conditions. Applicants must be able to work long hours and weekends as needed and pass a pre-access drug and alcohol test if required by the client.
